Perthro is a social gaming journal built by Rune Art ltd., a small team in Alberta, Canada. We made it because we wanted a single place to remember what we played, when we played it, what we thought, and what our friends were spending time with. The big platforms each keep their own list. None of them talk to each other. Perthro is the place that does.
What ships in 1.0
Log a session in three taps. No typing required. Start something, finish it, revisit an old favourite, or slowly chip away at the backlog. Perthro keeps the dates, the platform, and the time spent.
Rate on a five-star scale and write reviews when you have something to say. Short is fine. Long is fine too. Spoiler protection is built in.
Manage the games sitting on you with Backlog, Wishlist, custom Lists, and five honest states. Grid or list view. Sort by date, name, or release year.
Follow friends and see what they are playing in your Following feed. There is also a Public feed for finding reviews and activity from the wider community. Upvote, comment, bookmark.
Connect Steam, PlayStation Network, or Xbox Live for verified ownership badges and platform stats.
Profiles have avatars, banners, a favorites showcase, and an activity grid that fills in over time. XP, daily streaks, and level-up celebrations if that is your thing.
Multiple app icons: Neon, Blueprint, Liquid Metal, CRT, and more. Custom accent color.
Game pages include screenshots, summaries, community rating breakdowns, and studio pages. Metadata comes from IGDB, so Perthro covers PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, mobile, and everything else IGDB tracks.
Free, Pro, and Hero
Perthro is free to download. The free tier covers logging, rating, reviewing, and following. It includes sponsored cards from AdMob.
Pro unlocks unlimited lists, unlimited platform connections, accent colors, advanced filters, backlog export, and removes ads.
Hero adds a badge, animated GIF avatar, custom name font, alternate app icons, and early access.
We do not sell your data.
If you were on TestFlight
Install the App Store version. That is the build that gets updates from here on. Your account is the same. Sign in the same way.
Requirements
iPhone only for now. iOS 17 or newer. No Android version yet.
Under the hood
Supabase for hosting and auth. Apple sign-in. Sentry for crash reports. PostHog for analytics. Standard tools for a small team trying to keep the thing running and understand what breaks.
Thanks
To everyone who used the beta, sent feedback, found bugs, and told us when something felt wrong. That helped a lot.
Now we are opening the door wider.
