Delete your account
You can delete your Perthro account and all associated data at any time. This page is provided as required by the Apple App Store guidelines.
The fastest way: from inside the app
Account deletion is built into Perthro. The in-app flow sends a 6-digit confirmation code to your account email, then queues the deletion as soon as you enter it. This step exists so a stolen session token can't be used to wipe your account without your active consent.
- Open Perthro on your iPhone.
- Tap the You tab (bottom right).
- Tap the gear icon (top right) to open Settings.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
If you've already uninstalled the app
If you no longer have access to the app, email contact@rune.art from the email address associated with your account. Include your username if you remember it. We'll verify the request and process the deletion within 30 days.
What happens when you delete
Whichever path you use, the following data is permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days, and from backup copies within a further 60 days:
- Your profile, display name, avatar, and bio
- All sessions, ratings, and reviews you logged
- Your library, backlog, wishlist, lists, and bookmarks
- Your follows, comments, and votes
- Connected platform tokens (Steam / PSN / Xbox), revoked immediately
- Any notifications addressed to you
- Support correspondence on request
A few items are retained on a limited basis: anonymized aggregate metrics (which cannot identify you), records we are required to keep for tax or other legal compliance, and a minimal log of the deletion request itself for audit purposes. Full detail is in section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions are separate. Deleting your Perthro account does not cancel an active Perthro Pro subscription. Cancel separately on your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Perthro → Cancel Subscription. See our Subscription Terms.
