Subscription Terms

The short version. Perthro is free. Perthro Pro is an optional subscription billed through your Apple ID. It auto-renews until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings, and the change takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple.

1. What's free

The core of Perthro is free, forever. That means logging sessions, rating games, writing reviews, building lists, following friends, your activity heatmap, the feed, and the standard accent palette. Free during the TestFlight beta, and free at launch.

2. What the paid tiers add

Perthro has two optional subscription tiers: Perthro Pro and Perthro Hero.

Everything in Pro, plus:

Paid features are additive. Cancelling never deletes your data; you simply lose access to the tier's features at the end of the current period.

3. Pricing and billing

Perthro Pro and Perthro Hero are offered as annual subscriptions. Perthro Pro includes a 7-day free trial at first purchase — you won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel any time during the trial to avoid the charge. The current price is shown in-app at the moment of purchase and varies by region. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase (after the trial, if applicable).

All purchases of Perthro Pro are processed by Apple under Apple's standard terms for the App Store and the iTunes Store.

4. Auto-renewal

Perthro Pro and Hero auto-renew at the end of each annual billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending, at the then-current price for the plan you're on.

If you started Perthro Pro with the 7-day free trial, your trial converts to a paid annual subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel during the trial.

You'll see the renewal in your Apple receipt email. If you turn off auto-renewal, your Pro or Hero features stay active for the rest of the period you've already paid for, then revert to the free tier.

5. How to cancel

Cancellation is handled by Apple, not by us. We can't cancel a subscription on your behalf. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Perthro, then Cancel Subscription.

You can also manage subscriptions at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions from a desktop browser. Your access continues until the end of the current period.

6. Refunds

Refunds for App Store subscriptions are issued by Apple under their refund policy. To request one, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the Perthro charge. We don't have access to refund any payment you made to Apple.

If a charge looks wrong (for example, you were billed twice in the same period), email contact@rune.art and we'll help you raise it with Apple.

7. Family Sharing

Perthro Pro supports Apple Family Sharing. One Pro subscription can be shared with up to five family members in your Family group. Each member uses their own Perthro account and library; only the Pro features are shared.

8. Changes to plans or pricing

We may add new Pro features, retire Pro features that aren't being used, or change the price of new subscriptions. If we change the price of an existing subscription, Apple will notify you and ask you to confirm the new price before the next renewal. If you don't confirm, your subscription auto-cancels at the end of the current period.
