The game tracker app for iPhone
Perthro keeps track of every video game you play. Log what you're playing, rate and review what you finish, keep an honest backlog, and see what your friends are playing. Connect Steam, PlayStation or Xbox and your play sessions turn up on their own, ready to confirm.

What a game tracker should do
Most of us play across a console, a PC and a phone, and lose track of what we've played, what we thought of it and what we meant to play next. A good game tracker fixes that by keeping one record of everything, no matter where you played it. Perthro is built around four things:
- A gaming journal that fills itself in. Connect Steam, PlayStation Network or Xbox Live and Perthro notices when you've played. It queues what it caught; you tap Log it and the form arrives already filled in. Nothing reaches your journal until you save it.
- A library that covers everything you own. Games, reviews, your backlog, the games you're only interested in, your lists and the studios behind them, all in one place. Game data comes from IGDB, so every platform is covered, from PC to Switch to retro consoles.
- Ratings and reviews that mean something. Rate on a five-star scale with half steps, then write a full review with your hours, platform and whether you finished it. Your rating histogram shows what you actually reward.
- A feed of people, not algorithms. Follow friends and people whose taste you trust, and see what they're finishing. No trending tab and no follower counts.

A gaming journal, not a spreadsheet
Tracking games shouldn't feel like homework. Perthro is designed so that logging takes seconds: the sessions it catches arrive already filled in, and everything else is a search and a tap. Over time your profile becomes a record worth keeping, with your level, a play streak, your four favourite games, and tabs for your reviews, stats and taste.
If you want ideas for how to use a journal without it becoming a chore, read our guide to keeping a game journal without homework, or how to rate games on a five-star scale that means something.
Game tracker FAQ
What is a game tracker app?
A game tracker app keeps a record of the video games you play: what you're playing now, what you've finished, how you rated it and what's waiting in your backlog. Perthro adds a gaming journal on top, so each entry can hold your hours, platform, a review and the date you played.
Is Perthro free?
Yes. Perthro is free to download, and logging, rating, reviewing, unlimited lists, platform connections and exporting your data are free for everyone. Optional Pro and Hero plans remove ads and add extras such as widgets, advanced filters and a stats pack.
Can Perthro track my Steam, PlayStation and Xbox games?
Yes. Connect Steam, PlayStation Network or Xbox Live to import your library, get verified ownership badges and have Perthro catch your play sessions. You confirm each session before it reaches your journal.
Can I track Nintendo Switch and older games?
Yes. Game data comes from IGDB, which covers PC, every PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo console, mobile and more, so you can search for any game and log it by hand, including Switch games and retro titles.
Is there an Android version of Perthro?
Not yet. Perthro is built for iPhone and needs iOS 17 or later; we're focused on getting iOS right before other platforms.
Can I log games offline?
Yes. A log saved without a connection stays on your phone and uploads the next time you open the app online.
Can I export my game data?
Yes. Exporting your data is free for everyone, so your game history is never locked in.
